Global greenhouse technology innovation leads the future of agriculture
With the increasing challenges of global climate change and population growth, greenhouse technology has become a hot topic in the agricultural field. Globally, greenhouses have not only brought higher economic benefits to farmers, but also provided new impetus for rural revitalization.
In Dongsheng Village, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province, China, modern greenhouses have enabled 70% of farmers to increase their income from strawberry planting. These greenhouses use advanced double-layer material design, with the middle layer being a "translucent quilt" that keeps warm without affecting light, and the walls are made of insulation materials to automatically adjust the temperature, solving the problem of winter production.
In addition, the Hengtong Ecological Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Fanjiatun Town, Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province has introduced a high-tech monitoring system, installed sensors and laser lights, and monitored environmental parameters in real time to promote plant growth, achieving efficient and precise planting management, greatly improving the yield and quality of fruits and vegetables.
The success of greenhouses is not limited to China. As a pioneer in greenhouse technology, the Netherlands' high-tech glass greenhouses control light, temperature and irrigation through automated systems, achieving year-round supply of vegetables and fruits, and the yield per unit area is 4-5 times that of traditional agriculture.
In Kenya, Africa, the greenhouse project in the Naivasha area provides a stable source of income for local small farmers. By introducing drip irrigation systems and insect-proof nets, these greenhouses not only increase production, but also reduce water waste and pesticide use.
The global application of greenhouse technology has not only improved the efficiency and stability of agricultural production, but also created more economic opportunities for farmers and improved the rural economic structure. With the continuous advancement of science and technology, greenhouses will continue to be an important driving force for global agricultural modernization and contribute to solving global food security issues.
