Yang Xinyi picked a tomato and broke it open, and the juice overflowed instantly, fresh and tender. He said happily: "My fruit is red, juicy, full, sweet and delicious. From January to now, I have picked more than 100 kilograms a day, and there are orders every day. The market is in short supply."
In recent years, Qingtongxia City has actively sought project funds, vigorously developed facility agriculture, encouraged and helped farmers to plant facility greenhouse crops, and formed a vegetable industry development pattern dominated by solar greenhouses, mobile greenhouses, and open-field vegetables, realizing a good situation of vegetable production in four seasons and year-round supply, so that farmers have income in all seasons. The greenhouses in Jiangdong Village not only enriched the "vegetable basket" of the people in the dam and surrounding areas, but also made the villagers of Jiangdong Village bulge their "purses".
In Lishou Village, Legang Town, Leping City, Jiangxi Province, the greenhouses for seed selection and demonstration bases are also warm as spring, and the fragrance of vegetables is fragrant. Peppers are hanging on the branches, and workers are picking mature screw peppers. Hu Zhongyin, a 63-year-old villager in Lishou Village, started the automatic spraying equipment to spray water on the pepper seedlings. Legang Town, where he is located, is an important vegetable production base in Leping City, the "Jiangnan Vegetable Town", and the output value of vegetables accounts for more than 70% of the agricultural output value.
Jiangxi Green Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Leping Municipal Government jointly funded the establishment of Jiangxi Vegetable Town Agricultural Ecology Co., Ltd., and strived to create the Leping Vegetable Industry Demonstration Park Project. The project has a total investment of 80 million yuan, with 200,000 square meters of vegetable greenhouses and 12,000 square meters of seedling factories. Through big data analysis, the three main planting crops of early spring, summer vegetables, and late autumn are determined to carry out standardized planting demonstration and guidance.
"To promote rural industrial revitalization, the first thing is to let the base lead farmers to work and show farmers how to work, so that people can see the benefits of intensive, large-scale and intelligent agriculture." Wu Yongxin, general manager of Jiangxi Shuxiang Agricultural Ecology Co., Ltd., said that the ultimate goal of the project is to take the base as the center, radiate and drive the vegetable planting in Legang, Zhenqiao and other surrounding towns in Leping City, and strive to achieve the planting target of 10,000 mu through unified processing, packaging, warehousing and cold chain logistics, and make Leping vegetable brand bigger and stronger.
Spring in the greenhouse is a vivid portrayal of science and technology helping rural revitalization. By developing facility agriculture and using modern agricultural technology, vegetables can be produced in four seasons and supplied throughout the year, which not only enriches the "vegetable basket" of the people, but also fills the "money bag" of farmers, injecting strong impetus into rural revitalization.
